Jagtial (Telangana): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday urged voters to support the BJP for the development of Telangana, aiming to defeat the Congress and BRS in the coming Lok Sabha election, scheduled to be held on May 13.

Addressing a public gathering titled “Vijay Sankalp Sabha” at Jagtial in the Nizamabad Parliamentary constituency, he emphasised the growing popularity of the BJP in Telangana.

Modi expressed confidence that the people of Telangana would make history on May 13 by voting for the BJP for the region’s development. He expressed hope for the NDA to secure victory in 400 seats in the June 4 election results.

Modi highlighted the renovation of the Ramagundam Fertilizer Factory with an investment of Rs. 6,400 crores and criticized the neglect of turmeric farmers by the BRS and Congress governments. He noted a significant increase in the price of turmeric from Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 30,000 per quintal under BJP governance.

The Prime Minister also addressed the issue of the Nizam Sugar Factory’s closure and pledged a renewed focus on Telangana’s progress for the next decade, promising developments in railways and roads.

Asserting that the BJP would overpower the Congress and BRS in Telangana, Modi emphasized the party’s commitment to public welfare over retaining power.

He accused the Congress and BRS of corruption and promised to hold them accountable.

Modi criticised the Congress and BRS for allegedly using Telangana as an ATM and warned against their attempts to cover up corruption.

He highlighted the importance of public interest to the BJP and praised the strength of women, condemning the Congress for disrespecting women’s power.

Prime Minister Modi reiterated his commitment to Telangana’s development and accused family parties of aiming to loot the country, urging voters to choose wisely in the coming election.

During the meeting, PM Modi extended his blessings to BJP MP candidates Bandi Sanjay (Karimnagar), Dharmapuri Arvind (Nizamabad), and Gomase Srinivas (Peddapalli).
