Preparations for the Ellora-Ajantha International Festival nearing completion

Aurangabad: Preparations for Ellora-Ajantha International festival are currently underway in the city and the country’s reputed events agency ‘We-The Working Elements’ has been entrusted with the planning.

On behalf of Aurangabad District administration and Ellora -Ajantha International Festival Committee, the Ellora-Ajantha International Festival-2023, which is a unique recognition of the cultural world, has been organized from February 25 to 27 ,2023.

Mr Ashish Uke, Director of ‘We- The Working Elements’ said that, our team is ready for the prestigious Ellora-Ajantha International Festival and we have set up a grand stage of 90 x 40 feet where more than 100 national artistes will perform.

The stage is decorated with attractive replicas of Ellora and Ajanta caves. It reflects the rich tradition of Aurangabad. Apart from this, a team is coming from Delhi to perform ‘Laser Show’. They will present a spectacular show of 12 color lasers. Big screens have been arranged inside and outside the festival venue so that outsiders can enjoy the festival for free, said Mr Uke.

He expressed the belief that this festival will go well as we have experience working in seven states, saying that we have done many popular events in the country like Elephanta Festival, Koradi Festival, Nagpur Festival and Rajasthan Day Festival.

Meanwhile, seats for 5500 spectators have been arranged for the Ellora-Ajantha International Festival.

Mr Uke also told that various food stalls, parking arrangements, toilets and sanitation, security arrangements, fire fighting, media arrangements have been perfected.

In the Ellora-Ajantha International Festival being starts organized from 25th to at the Soneri Mahal in the campus of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, internationally renowned singers, musicians will present their art.

Ustad Rashid Khan, Ustad Sujat Khan, Mahesh Kale, Ravi Chari, Shivamani, Vijay Ghate, Sangeeta Mujumdar, Shankar Mahadevan will be performing their talents during the festival.

It may note that the above said festival could not organised during the last seven years due to the various reasons including Covid pandemic.
