Punjab: Rural police arrest three drug peddlers

Amritsar: In an intelligence-based operation, Amritsar Rural Police arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 12 Kg of heroin from them.

DGP Gourav Yadav said on Thursday that the accused were on their way to deliver the consignment. The accused have been in touch with Pakistan-based smugglers.

The international market value of heroin is Rs 60 crore.

A FIR has been registered, and Further investigation is on for forward and backward linkages
