Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Shiv sena (UBT) senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday accused the Shinde Fadnavis government of the chaos in Kolhapur.

Speaking with media person here on today Raut said that riots in a city like Kolhapur will not suit Maharashtra state.

This technique of doing politics by creating riots and fighting elections by creating a gap in people and society is BJP’s technique.

When the sand shifts under their feet, they remember Bajrangbali and Hanuman Chalisa which was not worked in Karnataka election. I think they had to surrender to Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan in the end, he hit out at the BJP.

We buried Aurangzeb here in Sambhajinagar 400 years ago. Still, BJP is reviving him again and again, why are they taking it out again and again, BJP should give an answer. A riot took place in Kolhapur, there were no people from Kolhapur city, there were more people from outside. The same happened to Sangamner. This did not happen when Uddhav Thackeray was in government, why is it happening only when BJP government came,he alledged and said that if they have the courage, find the real rioters.

Raut also alleged that they are not taking action against gangster, but using the police to save their supporters, the police will be used to win the elections.

Speaking on the disqualification of MLAs, Raut said, “In future, it is up to the speaker of our assembly, he will take the decision based on the instructions given by the court and his authority as the speaker of the assembly, he added.
