Solar eclipse : Tirumala & Tiruchanoor temples in AP to close tomorrow

Tirumala: In connection with Surya Grahanam (Solar Eclipse) on Tuesday, the doors of Tirumala and Tiruchanoor temples in Andhra Pradesh will remain closed.

The Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala will remain closed for almost 12 hours tomorrow.

The Surya Grahanam will occur between 5:11 PM to 6:27 PM and the temple doors will remain closed by 8:11 AM and will be re-opened after carrying out Suddhi rituals by 7:30 PM.

TTD has cancelled VIP Break Darshan, SRIVANI Trust, Rs.300/- Special Entry Darshan and also the Arjitha Sevas such as Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas on October 25.

All the privileged darshans including Senior citizens, Physically Handicapped, and parents with infants, NRIs, Defence Personnel etc. also remains cancelled.

Only Sarva Darshan pilgrims are allowed for darshan after the reopening of temple doors, through VQC-II, TTD said.
