Telangana Congress to stage dharna in Delhi for 42 pc BC quota

New Delhi/Hyderabad: The Telangana Congress will stage a massive dharna at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on Wednesday, demanding the implementation of 42 per cent reservation for Backward Classes (BCs) in the state.

The protest will be led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud under the leadership of the state Congress unit.

AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge will inaugurate the program at 1100 hours, while Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to address the gathering at 1400 hours.
Telangana Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, corporation chairpersons, DCC presidents, and prominent BC leaders from the districts will participate in the demonstration.

Party sources said that the dharna reflects the party’s commitment to protecting BC rights and demonstrates its fighting spirit for social justice in Telangana.
