The logic of Indian secularism: Gopal Mishra was the reason of his own death

Hindus are doing nothing except moving in an endless cycle- Hindus are killed mercilessly by jihadis, there is massive uproar on social media against the hate-filled crimes, and the hullabaloo then dies out; only for another Hindu to be killed in cold blood a few days later.

In another dastardly crime against the Hindu community in this country, 22-year-old Gopal Mishra was brutally murdered by a blood-thirsty mob of Muslims. He was shot more than 20 times, his throat was slit, his nails were pulled out with pliers, and even after the victim died, his lifeless body was pelted with stones.

In Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich, the innocent Mishra, who had been married just a few months ago, was murdered at the hands of Muslims because he simply replaced a green Islamic flag with a Hindu Bhagwa one. And let me make it very clear, he did not do this because he wanted to ‘provoke’ the ‘dara hua Musalman’ of this country; he ended up doing this to showcase that his dharma is not weak; he did this because the Muslims first pelted stones at and attacked the Durga Visarjan procession, he was a part of.

After this tragic incident took place, according to the flagbearers of Indian secularism, it was Gopal Mishra’s fault that he had to lose his life; it was his fault that he retaliated to the hate-filled crimes of the Muslim mob against his religion. And this is typically what happens in this country- whenever a Hindu dies at the hands of ‘peaceful’ Muslims, the ‘secular logic’ says that the Hindu was responsible for his own death.

In the case of Bahraich, even the SP, Vrinda Shukla, had to audacity to come out and say that ‘Ek vyakti ko goli lagi jab juloos Muslim kshetra se nikal raha tha’ (A person was shot when a religious procession crossed a Muslim area). The question which every Hindu should ask madam SP here is that why she downplayed the death of Gopal Mishra who was intentionally shot more than 20 times after he was tortured by the Muslims, wherein ‘goli lagi’ insinuates some random accidental cross-firing.

Secondly, if India is such a secular country, why are parts of towns and cities, where Muslims live in large numbers, termed as ‘Muslim areas’? Why should a secular India be home to thousands of small pockets of religious exclusivity? And going by that logic, if a few hundred Muslims living together could get the ‘Muslim area’ label for their localities, shouldn’t India immediately be declared a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ with crores and crores of Hindus living together at the national level?

In India, this ‘Muslim area’ nonsense has always been used as a defense to white-wash the bigoted mindset and criminal acts of Jihadis living in this country. It happens all the time in states like West Bengal, it happened in Nuh, Haryana, and now, it is happening in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. What is even more disgusting is that in states like Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, which are ruled by the so-called ‘Hindutvawaadi’ party of the BJP, the police start arresting or labelling as culprits, the Hindus in turn.

In Nuh, the police took no time to arrest Bittu Bajrangi, branding him as the main-accused of the riots, whereas he was merely named in a procession; and now, in Bahraich as well, the police brutally lathi-charged the Hindus, and even killed an innocent Hindu man during the same, rather than taking apt action against the Muslims, who attacked the Hindu procession, and dragged Gopal Mishra inside their house to murder him, simply because he was a believing Hindu, who laid his life, protecting the honour of his dharma.

Nevertheless, despite Hindus constantly being murdered, and then being blamed for their own deaths, nothing seems to change the ‘secular’ ethos of this country. At this point, every Hindu must understand this- No government or organization is coming to defend or protect you; you must learn how to protect your own self, your own family, and your own Dharma.

Afterall, you must remember, ‘Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha’.
