Trump promises to end conflict in Ukraine, prevent World War III

Washington: US President-elect Donald Trump said that after his inauguration he intended to end the conflict in Ukraine and make efforts to prevent World War III.

“I will end the war in Ukraine. I will stop the chaos in the Middle East and I will prevent World War III from happening. You have no idea how close we are,” Trump said, speaking to supporters in Washington on the eve of his inauguration.

He also stressed that his administration intended to cut taxes, bring thousands of factories back to the United States, and modernise the armed forces.
