Mumbai: NCP state president and former water resources minister Jayant Patil on Sunday said the Nirbhaya Fund was created by the then UPA government at the Center for women’s safety and prevention of crimes against women.

However, the vehicles taken from this fund are being used for the protection of the rebel MLAs, so Patil has demanded that these vehicles should be sent to the police station immediately.

On one hand, the Chief Mi minister claims that the people are with him, on the other hand, he provides five police Y Plus security to each of his supporters MLAs and MPs. If the public is with them, then what exactly are they afraid of,asked Patil.

Meanwhile, the vehicles taken from the Nirbhaya fund should be sent to the police stations immediately.

Mr Patil also said in his tweet that we think the safety of the people and women sisters of the state is more important than the safety of MLAs, he added.
