World’s first Google vector map e-scooter launches in India

The country’s leading smart electric scooter company, Ather Energy, has launched the world’s first e-scooter with the Google vector map. The company announced the software update for the Ather-450 scooter series under Atherstack-5.0, on the occasion of Ather Community Day as well.

The four new colours of the Ather scooters, Cosmic Black, Salt Green, Too Red, and Lunar Grey, were also launched during the event. Tarun Mehta, Co-Founder and CEO,Ather Energy, during the event, said that not only the new customers, but even the old ones will enjoy the benefits of the new features. Some features of the new user interface are such which are not always available even in expensive luxury cars. This is the first of its kind initiative in the industry.

On Ather Community Day, the owners who travelled long distances with Ather two-wheelers were also honoured. Ravneet S Fokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said that the biggest earning of the company is the trust of their buyers. The last year also had proved to be full of achievements for the company, during which the company sold a record 59, 123 vehicles.

Ather Energy also launched the first battery-protect warranty for the EV Scooter industry. The warranty will be extended to 5 years/60 thousand KMs, and not only will there be battery failure cover, but there will also be the guarantee of 70% battery capacity maintained after 5 years. Ather has claimed that it is the only EV Scooter company which, along with this guarantee, is covering deep discharge as well.
