Mumbai: NCP State Chief Spokesperson Mahesh Tapase on Friday demanded that the investigation of the unauthorised phone tapping case done by Rashmi Shukla should be done through court.
He said this in view of Shinde-Fadnavis government pardoning Shukla by giving a clean chit to her in the case.
After the Mahavikas Aghadi government came to power, IPS officer Shukla had allegedly tapped the phone of a MVA leader illegally.
After that, Shukla was investigated on behalf of the Colaba police and a 750 pages chargesheet was filed, he said.
After rebellion by MLAs in Shiv Sena, the MVA government fell and the Shinde-Fadnavis government came to power.
It should be probed as to on whose orders the phone tapping was going on, why the investigation of Shukla was stopped and the court should investigate and decide who is guilty or not, he pointed out.
While announcing schemes for the public, it is necessary to make provision and planning for the provision, but Tapase has directly accused that the Shinde government is running without planning.
The Shinde government has no financial or logistical planning for the schemes.
Mere announcement has disappointed the citizens, he added.
