People across India ‘Spread the Light’

Mumbai: People across India on Sunday night lit candles, diyas and torches on call by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to mark national fight against Coronavirus.

The Prime Minister lit a lamp at his residence at Lok Kalyan Marg after switching off all the lights for 9 minutes at 9 PM on Sunday.

People across different cities, towns and villages in India lit earthen lamps and candles in the homes.

PM had appealed to people to switch off their lights at 9 pm for nine minutes on April 5 as mark of solidarity against the Corona virus.
