Sensex spurts over 400 points

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex remained on top on Thursday too, as the BSE Sensex rallied 441.62 points at 63,541.27 on strong global peers.

The Nifty gained 108.80 points at 18,867.15.

All the stocks were in green.

The sensex registered intra day high and low at 63,583.07 and 63,357.99 points respectively.

The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 18,887.60 and 18,842 points respectively.

The Mid Cap rose by 0.24 pc and Small Cap by 0.69 pc.

In 30 scrips 20 advanced, 9 declined while one remained unchanged.

The gainers were Tech Mahindra by 2.70 pc to Rs 1106.35, Infosys by 2.33 pc to Rs 1670.05, HCL Technology by 2.22 pc to Rs 1145.65, TCS by 2.19 pc to Rs 3466.55 and Wipro by 1.88 pc to Rs 414.60.

The losers were Hind Unilever by 0.90 pc to Rs 2656.05, NTPC by 0.55 pc to Rs 171.30, M& M by 0.47 pc to Rs 1301.10 and ITC by 0.38 pc to Rs 338.75.
