Hubballi: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai slammed the Congress for displaying its mindset of finding fault in everything including the clearance given to DPR of Kalasa-Bandura canal by the Central Water Commission three days ago.

“Victory has come almost 25 years and it has become the habit for Congress leaders to find fault in everything. We are not bothered about their criticisms as our way is clear.

“The Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been approved and we will start work after getting approval from the Finance Department,” he told reporters on Sunday.

Replying to a query, Bommai said everything will be crystal clear once the final order comes regarding the reservation.

“The government has already explained everything in its interim order and data will appear in the final report. After that, it will be discussed with authorities concerned. The government has already accepted the interim report. Injustice will not be done to any community,” he said.

While LoP Siddaramaiah’s party was in power, it did not fulfill these demands, but when the incumbent government is proactive, it has become a problem for them, Bommai said.
