After more than four long years of the tragic death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput under mysterious circumstances, the case has still not reached a closure. As a result of much public uproar after the Mumbai police’s intentional botch-up in the investigation of Rajput’s death was called out, the case was handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI); but till now, the central agency has not come up with any colossal update as far as their investigation in the matter is concerned.

Despite such a long span of time after Rajput’s mysterious demise, the calls for justice for the Kai Po Che actor have not died down, and following his sister, Shweta Singh Kirti pleading for closure in the case on her brother’s fourth death anniversary, recently on June 14, now, the Karni Sena, a prominent socio-political group, has proclaimed that it will hold nation-wide protests in the wake of the CBI having been failed to produce a conclusive report in the matter.

Shiv Singh Shekhawat, National President, Karni Sena, said, ‘We will raise Sushant Singh Rajput’s voice to know who killed him. It has been four years but despite the repeated assurances of an ongoing investigation, no report has been filed yet.’

‘We are planning a nation-wide movement. We will light lamps and gherao the mantralaya if the report is not filed and we do not get to know who killed Sushant Singh Rajput.’, stated Shekhawat, frustrated of the delayed justice to the late actor.
