Arms, ammo suspected to be drone dropped recovered by Samba Police

Jammu: Police on Monday morning recovered a packet containing arms and ammunition in Vijaypur belt of Samba district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Police said that during search operation launched by police after drone was pushed back by BSF troops on Saturday, searches were being carried out in the district.

On Monday morning, a packet was recovered at upper side of Rakh Barotian near AIIMS in Vijaypur district of Samba.

The recovery included four Chinese Hand Grenades, six magazines with 48 rounds and three Chinese pistols.

The area has been cordoned and searches are still in progress, they said.
