Baahubali: Crown of Blood to reign supreme on Disney+ Hotstar

New Delhi: Baahubali: Crown of Blood, the highly anticipated animated series, is set to captivate audiences as it streams exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar starting May 17, 2024.

The grand unveiling took place at AMB Cinemas in Hyderabad, bringing together the stellar team behind the production.

Led by the visionary filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli, the series is a collaboration between Graphic India, Arka Mediaworks Production Pvt Ltd, and Disney+ Hotstar. Baahubali: Crown of Blood promises to transport viewers back in time, immersing them in the epic clash of empires as Baahubali and Bhallaladeva unite to defend the kingdom of Mahishmati and its throne against a formidable threat.

Speaking at the event, Gaurav Banerjee, Head of Content at Disney+ Hotstar and HSM Entertainment Network, expressed excitement about pushing the boundaries of animation storytelling. Rajamouli, the creator of the Baahubali universe, emphasised the significance of Hyderabad, the birthplace of the franchise, in unveiling this new chapter.

Sharad Devarajan, co-creator, writer, and producer of Baahubali: Crown of Blood, highlighted the immense responsibility they felt in upholding the legacy of the franchise while crafting a narrative that delves deeper into the world of Mahishmati. Actor Sharad Kelkar, known as the voice behind Baahubali, shared his exhilaration at breathing life into the iconic character once again.

With stunning animation, intricate characters, and a gripping storyline tailored for adult audiences, Baahubali: Crown of Blood aims to redefine Indian animation. As fans eagerly await the release, the stage is set for a new chapter in the Baahubali saga to unfold on Disney+ Hotstar this May.
