Big B to play Ashwatthama in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Sci-Fi epic

New Delhi: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is set to portray the character of Ashwatthama in the upcoming film “Kalki 2898 AD”.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, this science fiction epic will feature Bachchan alongside Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in prominent roles.

The producers of “Kalki 2898 AD” have unveiled Bachchan’s character, generating buzz among fans.

The teaser for this upcoming film was released on YouTube by Vyjayanthi Network.

The teaser video released showcases a mysterious figure clad in white robes worshipping Lord Shiva in a cave.

As a child’s voice questions the figure’s divinity, Bachchan’s character responds, hinting at his anticipation of the Dashavatara since the Dvapara Yuga, identifying himself as Ashwatthama, the son of Dronacharya.

Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, “Kalki 2898 AD” promises to be a multilingual cinematic spectacle under Nag Ashwin’s direction.
