Tel Aviv: Lebanese Shia movement Hezbollah fired about 230 projectiles on Israel over the past day, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.
“As of 23:00, approximately 230 projectiles that were fired by the Hezbollah terrorist organisation have crossed from Lebanon into Israel today (Friday, October 11th),” the IDF said in a statement on Telegram.
It said it will keep defending Israel and its people.
Since October 1, Israel has been conducting a ground operation against Lebanese Shia movement Hezbollah forces in southern Lebanon while continuing airstrikes. Despite losses, Hezbollah has been fighting Israeli troops on the ground and launching rockets across the border. Israel says its main objective is to create conditions for the return of 60,000 residents who fled the north of the country due to shelling.
