Kochi:Punjab FC secured a 2-1 victory against Kerala Blasters FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Sunday night to kick off their Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 campaign with three points to their name.
The game seemed destined for a draw, but both teams’ efforts were in vain until the final 10 minutes of play and stoppage time. Both teams were unable to score until then.

Kerala Blasters FC struck back with the duo of Milos Drncic and Vibin Mohanan, but the defender’s strike at goal to bag at least a point for his side was overruled, handing a thrilling win to the visitors.
