Shiv Sena (Thackeray Group) organise Chakkajam agitation

Aurangabad: Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray Shiv Sena activists and party office bearers on Thursday held Chakkajam agitation throughout the district on protest against forcefully collection of electricity bills from farmers and mismanagement of crop insurance companies across in the state.

State legislative assembly council opposition leader Ambadas Danve led the agitation at Isarwadi phata on Aurangabad-Pune road in Gangapur taluka along with party workers.

Danve alongwith party activists were detained by police.

Danve said that ,the farmers are in financial distress due to the damage caused by the heavy rains and currently there is a forced collection of electricity bills from the farmers across the state, electricity supply is being cut off without prior notice and mismanagement and bullying of crop insurance companies .

Shiv Sena senior leader Chandrakant Khaire among others Shiv sainik held Chakkajam agitation at Shivur bangalow in Vaijapur taluka .

Police have made tight security arrangements at the agitation places in the district
