On Thursday, at around 3.30 PM in the afternoon, at the Barla circle in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara, 4 miscreants, riding on 2 bikes, opened fire, due to which, a youth lost his life and another got injured. The police blockaded the area but the culprits could not be caught. The incident is being believed to be the revenge of the Akash Tapadiya murder in Bhilwara. The internet has been shut down in the district by the administration for 48 hours.

ASP Jyeshth Maitreyi has said that Imam Uddin aka Tony, and his brother, Ibrahim Pathan aka Bhoora, were going towards Harni Mahadev from the Barla circle, and the assailants fired three rounds on both of them and fled the scene. Ibrahim Pathan lost his life in the incident and Imam Uddin was injured. The police have arrested a few suspects. The relatives of the deceased created a ruckus at the Mahatma Gandhi hospital and ransacked the hospital.

After half an hour of the incident, 2 bike riders came to the spot, in the presence of 100 police personnel, and challenged them, saying, “You will see dead bodies now, you will not remain well now”. The police did not try to catch them.

The incident is being looked at as being related to Bhilwara’s Adarsh Tapadiya murder case. At the night of 10th May, in Bhilwara’s Shastri Nagar, Adarsh was riding a scooter, and that was when he was killed by 2 bike riders with a knife, and the names of the two brothers who have been attacked now, had popped up in the case.
