6-hour ruckus in Brazilian Parliament, President’s residence

On Sunday, more than 3 thousand supporters of the former Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro, suddenly broke inside the police barricades ad entered the Parliament, Supreme Court, and the President’s residence, and ransacked. They created a ruckus for 6 hours. The police then pushed them out by forming a security circle and releasing tera gas shells on them. More than 1200 demonstrators were arrested as well.

The violence committed by the Bolsonaro supporters is being believed to be a conspiracy of a coup.

These days, Bolsonaro is living a secret life a few miles away from Disney World in Orlando, at the home of a martial art fighter. He said that when the whole electoral system gets hacked, it is natural for the supporters to come out on the streets. He added that nevertheless, he has never condoned violence.

PM Modi too, expressed his worries about this incident of violence. He stated that he was highly tensed because of the news of demonstrators creating a ruckus in and ransacking government institutions in Brazil. He added that democracy should be respected by everyone. “We support the government fully”, mentioned PM Modi.
