This year, the Indian Army is organizing a military exercise with the armies of 40 countries from Africa together. This major military event is taking place when the summit of the G20 countries is also to be held, and G20 meetings are being organized across the year. The Indian Army has made preparations to deal with the growing diplomatic trap of China through the grand exercise of the armies of the African continent.

This 10-day exercise will take place towards the end of March, which will continue till the first week of April. During this time, contingents of at least 10 officers will be involved from the participating countries. They will also inform each other about their best military practices in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations. This will include the establishment of the new UN mission to maintain peace, development of headquarters, preparing military observation sites during peace missions, readiness for sudden wars, and solutions for humanitarian relief.

The first small exercise of this kind took place back in 2019, in which 17 countries had participated, after which the exercise could not take place due to the pandemic.
