There are many world-class universities in Germany with very low fees. Many of these universities find a mention in the top-100 universities of the world. As far as academic studies are concerned, Germany is acting as an ‘education centre’ for Indian students. As per the Foreign Ministry, currently around 21 thousand Indian students are studying in Germany. There are 300 universities in Germany, which offer more than 1000 programmes.

The students have to pay only the transportation costs and nominal administrative fees. This amount is paid as semester contribution. This is somewhere between 13 and 26 thousand rupees, which is way less in comparison to the universities of Britain and the USA. It is extremely easy to find courses of your choice in German universities and to apply for the same, and there are many scholarships for Indian students. Along with this, Indian banks provide student loans at low interest rates.

Here, the costs of living, food, and health insurance is less than 800 Euros per month, which is around 70 thousand rupees, and the students do not have to depend on their parents even for this. In Germany, part-time jobs pay 15 Euros per hour of work, which is around 1300 rupees.
