Indian sarees are making a mark in the European fashion industry, and looking at sarees becoming increasingly popular, models will ramp-walk wearing sarees of different designs at ‘The Offbeat Saree’, a fashion show which is to take place in Britain’s capital, London, on 19th May, 2023. With this show, the world will get to know about the new saree fashion which is trending. This show is being organized by the Design Museum. This will be the biggest fashion show of its kind in Britain.

90 different types of sarees from India will be presented in the show, and well-known fashion studios and new designers will take part in the same. The show will also present the saree which was worn for the first time at the Met Gala Fashion Show, along with the saree which was worn by Lady Gaga back in 2010. This saree was designed by designer Tarun Tahilyani. The show will also have the net saree designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla which was worn by Deepika Padukone at the Cannes Film Festival 2022. Not only this but now steel thread sarees are also becoming popular.

Designers are experimenting with sarees’ threads a lot now.
