Netherlands and Japan have shown consent in banning the export of high-tech machines, which are used for chip manufacturing, to China. Both the countries manufacture ultra-modern machines for manufacturing semi-conductors. This matter has been settled during high-level meetings with the USA’s National Security Advisor in Washington. It is noteworthy that last year, in October, President Joe Biden had issued an order to ban sending technologies like semi-conductors to China.

In the light of the sensitivity of the matter, the related countries have not announced the agreement yet, and full details of the proposed ban have not come out. With the ban on the companies of Japan and Netherlands, the situation of the technology industry of all the three countries will become the same. Now, companies of both these countries will not be able to share the market left by American companies. The USA, Japan and Netherlands have not commented on the matter.

At the same time, the Dutch, American, and Japanese companies are apprehensive about other foreign competitors taking their place after they distance themselves from the Chinese market, and them lagging behind in technology as well.
