Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Finance Minister KN Balagopal presents the second full budget of the second CPI(M)-led Pinarayi Vijayan Government at the Legislative Assembly on Friday.

This is the second full budget of the second CPI(M)-led Government which came to power for a second consecutive term by winning 99 seats out of the 140 Assembly seats in 2021, compared to 91 seats in the 2016 Assembly election, altering the four-decades-long electoral tradition in Kerala

The Government takes bold steps to mobilise additional resources without burdening the commoners in view of the current economic slowdown, the Minister said.
