AP : Canara Bank employees union demand regularization of services of temporary staff

Kakinada: Canara Bank employees Union Andhra Pradesh State committee unanimously demanded the bank management to regularize the services of temporary staff who are working for nearly a decade and dispense the outsourcing system.

The State Committee at its tenth conference held in Rajahmundry on Sunday resolved to also demand the appointment of staff to meet the growing requirements and to reduce the work load on the existing staff.

Union State secretary UVSS Hari Varma has chaired the conference, while CBEU All India leaders K Sri Krishna, M S Srinivasan, B.Ram Prakash, All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) Secretary B S Rambabu attended as the chief guests.

Rambabu has criticized the central government for its alleged anti-peoples policies and called upon the employees of all ranks to strive unitedly for the all round progress of the bank taking it to top position.

Canara Bank Vijayawada Circle General Manager P. Ravi Varma, who participated as the guest of honour, said that the Bank stood third among the public sector Banks by its effective all round functioning .
