Two Hyderabadi companies win at Tally MSME honours 2023

Hyderabad: Tally Solutions, a pioneer in the software products industry, on Monday announced the winners of the third edition of ‘MSME Honours’ for the South Zone.

The two companies from Hyderabad–Sara Infoway and Orange Tours and Travels triumphed amongst 5000 global nominations, the company said in a release.

The honours will recognize and celebrate the diversity and the positive impact of MSMEs through their best practises at the grass root level. This makes it an inclusive recognition to ensure that the real impact makers across the tiers of cities, segments and the unsung heroes driving the economy are celebrated.

These honours are given out once a year on the occasion of International MSME day and are applicable to all types of businesses with a turnover less than Rs 250 crore and a valid GSTIN.

Smitha from Sara Infoway was awarded in the ‘Wonder Woman’ category for her work in setting up the first automated Radiology lab in Tata Memorial Hospital which had a far-reaching impact.

Smitha has also been actively working to empower women entrepreneurs in the tech space. The company’s leadership in the IT hardware product services segment has allowed them to upskill and train women who aspire to make a mark in the field.

Prashanth from Orange Tours and Travels has been awarded the ‘Business Maestro’ award for their leadership in the transportation sector.

Their work in transportation has led to increased efficiency in conveyance and logistical processes.

In its third edition, Tally MSME Honours, in association with DBS Bank as preferred banking partner and Unicommerce and byteEDGE as supporting partners recognized two MSME in Hyderabad and 100 MSMEs across India.

Celebrated across four zones (East, West, North and South) of the country, the honours were given across 5 categories – wonder Woman; Business Maestro; NewGen Icon ; Tech Transformer: and Champion of Cause.
