Yadadri Bhuvanagiri: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has said that the government will constitute the “Yadagirigutta Temple Board” on the lines of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Trust Board, managing the world-famous Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala.

Reddy, who held a review on the development of Yadagirigutta Temple—the abode of Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy—with the authorities here, asked the concerned officials on Friday to take necessary steps to establish the Temple Board on the lines of TTD.

The Yadagirigutta Temple Board should be established equal to the status of TTD after a complete study of the Tirumala Board, the CM said.

He instructed the authorities to introduce a special policy for cow protection in Goshala.

Speed up the works for the completion of 60 kg of gold plating for Vimana Gopuram before Brahmotsavam, he said.

The authorities have been asked to complete the pending land acquisition related to the development of the temple; he ordered the officials to grant the required funds for it.

The CM directed the officials to come with complete details on the pending works and submit proposals in a week’s time.

He ordered the officials to rechristen Yadadri as Yadagirigutta in all official records and also in force in daily usage, he added.
