Advisor to J&K LG Rajiv lauds NCC cadets for high ‘zest’

Jammu: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajiv Bhatnagar on Friday lauded the NCC cadets for their high ‘josh’ during his visit to the ongoing camp of NCC Directorate Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh at camping ground in Nagrota on the city outskirts.

He was received by Major General Tejinder Kumar MP the Additional Director General of NCC Directorate Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh and was presented an impressive Guard of Honour.

Later he witnessed a cultural program presented by the cadets.

In his address, Bhatnagar complimented the cadets on their high standard of physical and mental fitness as well as their ‘josh’ and dedication in all the activities showcased.

He acknowledged and complimented the stellar role played by the NCC units of the Directorate in shaping the personality of more than 25000 youth of the region, which has been affected by severe challenges in the past decades.

Bhatnagar was briefed about the Peace progress and Prosperity in Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh region on an impressive model showcasing various developmental activities and initiatives of the Government.

He also interacted with the Cadets selected for the upcoming NCC Republic Day Camp 2023 at New Delhi over a cup of tea and wished them well for their upcoming camp.

The cadets were visibly thrilled with the visit and resolved to continue their training with renewed vigour.
