Hamirpur: Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on Sunday exuded confidence of BJP winning the Assembly election held on November 12 in the state and said the party would achieve the Mission repeat 2022 with grand success.

Talking to group of reporters here, he said the Congress party was making hollow claims about its success in the election, adding, their claims will not come true once election results were announced on December 8.

Dhumal said that the way the women folk voted in large numbers proved that the victory of the BJP was certain as they used to vote in favour of BJP all the time.

He said that the people rejected the Congress party fully knowing that it used to make tall slogans and thereafter fail to fulfill them.

The former CM claimed that the double-engine government of the BJP had done extremely well for the people and the way it developed the state and the nation was remarkable.

He said tpeople are aware that it was only the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that could take the nation to greater heights and no other party could match the performance of the BJP.

When the Congress party came to power in the state, the development go haywire and corruption at its peak, he alleged and said that is why the people once again preferred the BJP and voted for the party in this month election for their own welfare and safety.
