After the alliance of Opposition parties, I.N.D.I.A, created a ruckus inside the Parliament on Monday, July 24, BJP MP from North East Delhi, Manoj Tiwari, criticized the political leaders for their conduct. All this happened over the Manipur violence matter. Taking a dig at the Opposition, Tiwari called the leaders ‘impotent’ and ‘shameless’, and challenged the ‘impotent’ Opposition for a debate and discussion over the issue of violence and unrest in the northeastern state.

Speaking with News24, Tiwari expressed, ‘We want discussion on Manipur, but these people are running away because along with Manipur, we want discussions on Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh as well, as rapes have taken place in these states as well. Rajasthan minister said that it is a “state of men”, hence rapes happen there.’

Commenting on this statement by the Rajasthan minister, Tiwari continued, ‘We are against whatever is happening not only in Manipur, but in Rajasthan and Jharkhand as well. But these people are stating that Rajasthan has males, hence rapes will take place there. Who can make these shameless people understand?’

‘We want discussions, let them move inside and debate. I challenge these impotent people. How can they say that Rajasthan is a state of the males? Where is Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi? This hypocrisy will not work.’, added Manoj.
