CIK raids Central Jail Srinagar to probe terror case

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) wing on Wednesday conducted raids in Central Jail Srinagar to probe a terror related case, an officials said.

They said CIK sleuths conducted raids in different blocks, barracks of Central Jail Srinagar in old city as part of an ongoing investigation into a terror related case wherein during investigations, technical signatures were found inside the Central Jail premises.

The raids were conducted on the basis of a search warrant obtained from the competent court.
