Hyderabad: Union Tourism and Culture Minister and Telangana BJP State President, Kishan Reddy, advocated that the newly appointed job holders should work for the country to make their parents proud.

Participating as the chief guest at the 7th “Rozgar Mela” program held at Rail Kalarang, Boyguda, Secunderabad, Kishan Reddy handed over the appointment letters to 176 candidates who secured Central government jobs in various sectors, including IT, banking, and postal departments.

Addressing the gathering, Kishan Reddy expressed his delight as more than 5 lakh youths have received appointment letters through the “Roze Gar Mela” program, which was initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a Diwali gift to the youth on October 22, 2022.

Speaking about the government’s initiatives, he emphasised Prime Minister Modi’s mission to harness the potential of the youth and provide them with necessary skills and opportunities. Kishan Reddy highlighted the efforts of the Central Government to increase employment opportunities, both in the public and private sectors, by focusing on skill development and inviting investments in various sectors.

He encouraged the youth to take advantage of government schemes such as Make in India, Startup India, and Standup India to explore their entrepreneurial skills and contribute to the nation’s development.

Kishan Reddy expressed confidence that with the collective efforts of the government and the youth, India could become a ‘Vishwaguru’ (world leader) once again within the next 25 years.

The Union Minister extended his best wishes to the new job holders and urged them to work diligently for the progress and prosperity of the country.
