Miss World 2025: Contestants from Portugal, Ghana, and Ireland arrive in Hyderabad today

Hyderabad: Preparations for the Miss World 2025 pageant continue in full swing as more international contestants arrive in Hyderabad.

On Monday, representatives from Portugal, Ghana, and Ireland are scheduled to land at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Shamshabad, where the Telangana Tourism Department has arranged a traditional welcome with full honours.

The arriving contestants include Maria Amelia Antonio from Portugal, Jutta Ama Pokuhaa Addo from Ghana, and Jasmine Gerhard from Ireland. Special attention has been given to security and accommodation arrangements to ensure a smooth and memorable experience for all participants.

Several prominent delegates have already arrived in the city, including Zoyalize Jansen van Rensburg (Miss South Africa), Jessica Scandiuzzi Pedroso (Miss Brazil), Julia Evelyn Morley (Miss World CEO and Chairperson), and Emma Deanna Cathryn Morrison (Miss Canada).

On May 10, Miss World Chairperson Julia Morley is expected to review the final preparations and hold discussions with government officials regarding the grand opening ceremony at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, official sources said.
