Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that all modern medical facilities would be available at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences ( IGIMS).
Kumar said on Saturday that the hospital is a prestigious one where all modern facilities would be available for providing better treatment to the patients. The hospital has a capacity of 200 beds, constructed at an expenditure of Rs 280 crore.
Outlining the steps initiated by his government to improve the medical facilities across the state, Kumar said that the treatment facilities have been improved right from Primary Health Centre up to Medical College Hospitals.
He said that the medicines were being distributed free of cost and the government was working in the interest of the common people.
While inspecting the newly constructed building, the Chief Minister instructed the authorities concerned to install solar plates on the rooftop to provide solar energy in the hospital.
