Police seize 2 vehicles acquired by illegal narcotic trade in Srinagar

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police have seized two vehicles of a drug peddler allegedly acquired through proceeds of illegal narcotic trade in Srinagar.

Srinagar Police on Thursday said that it has seized two vehicles Corolla and BMW in case FIR No. 36/2024 u/s 8/21 NDPS Act of Police Station Chanapora from the accused person identified as Mudasir Ahmad Wani, a resident of Stadium Colony, Chanapora.

“The seizure of vehicles acquired by illegal means through narcotics trafficking has been made under the provisions of the 68 NDPS Act,” police said.

“J&K Police reiterates its commitment in eradicating the drug menace and dismantling the infrastructure supporting narcotics trafficking,” police added.
