Senior journalist from Anantnag arrested by police

Srinagar: A senior journalist from South Kashmir’s Anantnag district has been arrested by the Police, officials said here on Tuesday.

A top police official told that the senior journalist Khalid Gul of Anantnag has been arrested.

He said he was arrested in an old case filed in 2017.

Khalid Gul was associated with a leading newspaper of Jammu and Kashmir for the last many years.

Notably, his residence was searched by Police on November 19 in connection with the investigation of a case related to online threat to journalists in Kashmir.
