Aurangabad: After the gap of seven years, Three-days Ellora-Ajantha International Festival being starts from today at historical Soneri mahal situated at cpus of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
Preparation has been completed at Soneri Mahal with the stage is decorated with attractive Replicas of Ellora and Ajantha.It reflects the rich of tradition of Aurangabad .
Meanwhile ,seats for 5500 spectators have been arranged for this festival.
The program will begin this evening with the Kathak dance of Mayur Vaidya and Mrinmayi Deshpande.
Bharatnatyam by Prarthana Beher and Lavani by Bhargavi Chiramule will be performed.
Fans will also get to experience the singing of Padma Bhushan Pandit Rashid Khan, Mahesh Kale and the juggling of tabla and flute by Padmashri Vijay Ghate, Pandit Rakesh Chaurasia during the three days festival.
It may note that due to different reasons the festival not organised by administration during the past seven years.
