Islamabad: At least seven terrorists were killed and six others injured in a clash between security forces and terrorists in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said on Sunday.
An exchange of fire took place between security forces and terrorists in Ursoon area of Chitral district on Saturday.
The military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said this in a statement.
Sanitization of the area was being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found there, it added.
