Senior BJP leader, Ex-Karnataka CM SM Krishna hospitalised

Bengaluru: Former External Affairs Minister and former Karnataka Chief Minister SM Krishna has taken ill and has been admitted to Manipal Hospital here in the city on Saturday night.

According to the hospital, Krishna has an acute respiratory infection, due to which there is difficulty in breathing.

The senior BJP leader is kept under the care of Drs Satyanarayana Mysore and Sunil Karanth. He is on minimal respiratory support.

Apart from this, Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar is monitoring his health.
