Una (HP): In order to increase the participation of voters in the upcoming assembly elections – 2022 and especially to ensure the participation of young voters, the district administration is continuously making the public aware through several programs under SVEEP.
The Una district administration has decided to organize a voter selfie competition on the day of polling on November 12, 2022.
District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Una Raghav Sharma said Monday in order to participate in the voter selfie contest, a person should come out of the polling station after casting his vote on November 12, 2022 and take a selfie with his friends or family members, in which the ink mark is put on the finger after voting should be clearly visible.
After taking the selfie, the person should upload the selfie photo on his/her profile with a hashtag (unavotes) and tag /@sveep.un. Out of all the Voters Selfies received, 25 best selfies will be awarded by the Deputy Commissioner, Una and prizes will be given to them.
