The teenagers studying in the schools of the USA are of the opinion that mathematics is important for every aspect of life, and it is crucial for music, arts, and even sports, and therefore, topics like algebra, calculus, and geometry should be learnt along with basic mathematics. As per the students, it also helps in bringing accuracy in their thoughts.

With learning mathematics, a lot of career options get opened up, and it also develops the capacity of our thought process and logic, which, in turn, develops the skill of problem solving. But, at the same time, mathematics should not be imposed on the students. Mathematics also helps students learn a better thinking. Many students believe that mathematics is an important resource of life, but in order to teach students its importance, a skilled guide should be around children from the very beginning, this will also lead to an end of the fear of mathematics among students.

It is also being believed that the way we solve a mathematics problem using a formula, and reach the solution, in life too, one needs to use all the steps. In life, similar to mathematics, there are no shortcuts.
