RBL Bank appoints Ravi Pichan as Chief Information Officer

Mumbai: Private sector lender, RBL Bank said Bank has appointed Ravi Pichan as its Chief Information Officer.

Ravi will be responsible to drive the technology strategy at the Bank. He will also help build a technology innovation hub to foster a culture of continuous innovation across the Bank.

Ravi joins RBL Bank from HDFC Life, where he was the Chief Information & Technology Officer. He has also worked in leadership roles at organisations including Larsen & Toubro Infotech, Capgemini, Barclays, & Bank of America.

Commenting on the appointment, R Subramaniakumar, Managing Director & CEO, RBL Bank, said, ‘I am pleased to welcome Ravi to our Bank’s senior management team during this exciting phase in our technology journey. He joins us with an extensive background in delivering technology solutions that are cost-effective, innovative, and aligned to business strategy, which is the need of the hour considering the IT transformation underway at the Bank. I wish him the best and look forward to his partnership in RBL Bank 2.0’

Ravi Pichan, Chief Information Officer, RBL Bank, said, ‘I am thrilled to join the team and look forward to enabling the Bank in achieving its growth objectives. We will be focusing on improving operational efficiency and creating a culture of continuous innovation aligned to business strategies.’
