It is usually said that consuming fruits and vegetables helps people remain healthy and stay fit, but this has turned into mere bookish knowledge. But if people around you follow this health-tip and start consuming fruits and vegetables, then it is highly possible that you will follow the same as well. In a study conducted by Germany’s Cologne University, it has been found out that if a person’s colleagues consume fruits and vegetables at their workplace, then the individual too, quits junk food and starts eating the same.

The research also discovered that if family members or neighbours do the same too, the individual gets inspired, but gets impacted quicker in case of their colleagues. One major reason behind the same is that an individual spends more time with their colleagues, works with them for hours, and talks with them. As a result, their impact on the individual is higher. In the study which was conducted on more than 4 thousand employees working in 113 organizations, it was also revealed that people who work in offices do not have the ample amount of time to exercise.

Then, they look at their colleagues to find out the ways to stay healthy which have been adopted by them, and the consumption of fruits and vegetables is one of the methods, which is easy as well. Therefore, people start eating them. The research also found out that people also have role models at workplaces as well, whom they try to copy, and when their role model starts having healthy food, they start following their lead.
