Bengaluru: In her debut visit to Bengaluru city, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is all set to address women leaders and party workers at “Na Nayaki” rally here on Monday.

The rally is being held with an aim to highlight the misrule of the ruling party which is perceived to be corrupt and not doing enough to address the issue of inflation.

The rally also aims to consolidate the party’s vote-base and hike its chances to win upcoming elections.

The party is hailing it as the “date from where a new future unfolds for Karnataka.” The rally is being led by Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar.

Karnataka Congress invited Priyanka Vadra following the party’s victory in Himachal Pradesh, which some leaders believe that it would boost the confidence of party workers ahead of this year’s assembly election.
