Sidharth Malhotra ties the knot with Kiara Advani

Jaisalmer: Bollywood actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony, at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan on Tuesday.

The newly married couple took to social media and shared the first wedding photos. Kiara looked dreamy in a pastel pink embroidered lehenga, while Sidharth looked dashing in a golden embroidered sherwani. The couple is all smiles in the photos.

They captioned the pictures as, “Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai We seek your blessings and love on our journey ahead”.

The social media is flooded with congratulatory messages for the newly weds. The post has garnered more than 40 lakh likes.

Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, Athiya Shetty, Bhumi Pednekar, Shashank Khaitan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu among others showered love on the newlyweds.

The couple had garnered immense praise for their performance in the biographical war film ‘Shershaah’, based on the life of Vikram Batra, martyred in Kargil War. The flick stars Sidharth as Vikram Batra and Kiara played the role of his girlfriend Dimple Cheema.

On the work front, Sidharth will be next seen in ‘Yodha’, and ‘Indian Police Force’. While Kiara has ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ and untitled Telugu film with Ram Charan.
