We have all met people with ‘dark personalities’ at some point in time in our lives. Actually, ‘dark personality’ is a psychological ailment, and there are three types of people who carry the same. First, narcissists, functional psychopaths, and Machiavellians, who justify immoral means. 16% of the people in the world are suffering from such dark personalities. Machiavellians have been named after Nicolo Machiavelli, leader and thinker of the Italian Renaissance. These people think that at the end, immoral means and methods can be justified.
These people seem to be charitable but are not, and such people are made different from the people with other types of dark personalities because of their cleverness, patience, and flutter. At the same time, even functional psychopaths are a little different from other psychopaths. On the other hand, narcissists have no shame in praising their own selves, even if they perform averagely. They are irritable and self-centered, and do not stay back in exploiting someone for their selfish needs.
